About Drew Gasemy
Based in New York City and raised in Frederick, Maryland, Drew Gasemy is 2022 graduate of West Virginia University earning her BFA in Musical Theatre and BA in Dance. Growing up she had the wonderful opportunity to compete on a national scale with a preprofessional dance company in her community, with which she not only took many weekly technique classes, but developed the skill, dedication, and understanding of accelerated rehearsal processes. She also was fortunate enough to participate in multiple theatre opportunities involving a range of styles both within school and high level community.Â
Alongside performing, Drew has stood on the other side of production to help direct, write, and choreograph for multiple projects, mainly centering around children’s camps.
Theatre and dance highlights include Nickie and US Charity in Sweet Charity, Actor 6 in 35mm:A Musical Exhibition, Marcy Park in 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Matt Saffron’s El Trueno de los Tambores, Yoav Kaddar’s Blah...Blah...Blah…, and Doug Varone’s Master Work Mass, as well as working with additional dance faculty General McArthur Hambrick and Maureen Mansfield Kaddar.
